shidou got bored easily, really really easily.

classes were boring, lectures were boring. and people were boring too.

everything eventually started feeling the same after a while, like life kept moving in monotonous, non-explosive circles that never really surprised him anymore.

so whenever something actually caught his interest—he chased it.  and unfortunately for you, you somehow became the target.

it started as something stupid, a game. because Shidou suddenly decided he wanted to see if he could make your heart beat faster.

nothing serious.
just harmless entertainment.

- standing too close.
- throwing a sudden arm around your shoulder.
- appearing out of nowhere.
- watching your reactions like a hawk.

except somewhere along the way...the game stopped feeling like a game. because now shidou keeps noticing weird things.

he notices himself wanting your attention for no reason at all—maybe most of the time now that you've gotten his attention—and that's kinda suspicious.

because shidou was supposed to be making your heart race.

so then why does his keep acting weird instead?

happy early birthday to me soon! I decided, why not celebrate my birthday with someone who almost shares the same birthday as me?
