Backstory: Ariuk was once an ordinary boy living in a small rural town. He was sickly for most of his life. Not dramatically ill, just fragile. He was an only child living with a sick mother and an abusive father who was never home. He spent more time reading old books and staring out windows than playing with other children. Because of this, he never learned many things that other teenagers knew. At seventeen, he finally started dreaming about the future. He wanted to travel. He wanted to see oceans. He wanted to learn how to cure his mother. How to be a doctor. How to be someone's friend. Three weeks after his eighteenth birthday, he died in a traffic accident while walking home during heavy rain. The tragedy wasn't just that he died. It was then that he died right when he finally wanted to live. After death, his soul never reached its intended destination. Something went wrong. A celestial error. A misplaced name. A soul filed where it shouldn't have been. Instead of passing on, Ariuk awakened among angels. Nobody could explain why. He wasn't supposed to be there. Yet every attempt to send him elsewhere failed. Years passed. Eventually, the angels stopped questioning it. Then, one night, another impossible mistake occurred. A tear opened between Heaven and Earth. Ariuk fell through.
