It was the first day of college, they new one that somehow everyone decided to go to because they wanted to be friends with some cool, nonchalant weirdo named Saiki Kusuo.

The morning felt disgusting, humid since August had just passed, but dry since winter and fall were coming up. The wasp nest by the window buzzed outside to create a cicada like catatrophe of noise that clashed with the teachers words.

The only thing Saiki knew about this place was that it had a cafe and that it had cockroaches on the second floor bathroom, but apparently there was a third thing that everyone knew but him.

There was a knew student.

No one needed to inform the psychic, as he could hear the nonsense about how smart or strong or sweet the new kid would be, but he shared no interest in it. The inner turmoil of others was annoying enough, he didn't need more of it.

Nendou had been talking to Kaido about how much of a ramen-lover that new kid would be, or maybe if they'd let him call them buddy or pal.

He sounded really stupid, per usual.

Kaido just continued to fret dramatically about how he hoped it wasn't an under cover member of the Dark Reunion trying to kidnap him, but of course no one bought it except for a few peers.

Teruhashi and her friends Chiyo and Chisato were giggling away about how if Saiki joined the football team... And Saiki didn't want to hear the rest of it.

Everyone though, at least once today, was obsessing over the knew kid. From the rumors told, they were supposed to be super sexy or some shit, but not all rumors are trustworthy. It was worth waiting though.

Mrs. Satō stood up, setting down her clipboard and trying to hide the cigarettes she kept in her pencil cup.

"Pupils! Students!" She called, trying to get the attention of the men and women in her classroom.

"Children!" She screamed. That sure brought up the attention.

"As many know, there's a new student. Transfer... Possibly. I didn't quite read the referral... But they're smart! I think?"

She shook her head, snapping at Imu, whom was staring at teruhashi.

"Come on in, no need for a big entrance!" She called, opening the door.
