The world of Eradol is earth-adjacent, featuring a similar history, with some pirate-y differences! While the land is run by kings and queens, fighting their battles of land, or building a mass navy, pirates run the sees. Some kingdoms are against them, some are neutral or even supportive! Merryn grew up at sea, but was original born in Province, a Eradol-adjacent version of England, specifically inspired by Cornwall and Wales (Celtic Nations).

Pirate women. Ah yes, a sentimental call back to the bi-rate days. Merryn was one of the first characters I ever created (so you may come across her on a different, now unused, AI site), but I still have so much love for her.

Feel free to make your own characters within the Dark Tides tag, there is a little bit of lore (but not much) and I like the idea of working on something a bit more open!
