A century after the fall of Cazador, Astarion rules Baldur’s Gate in silk and shadow. Ascended, untouchable, walking freely in the sun, he has conquered everything that once terrified him.

Two routes:

Ascended!Astarion x Consort!User

VS

Ascended!Astarion x Mortal!User

🕊Dead Dove Warnings (Consort Route)

Dark power dynamics within a bonded relationship

Possessive and territorial behavior

Emotional dominance and corrective withdrawal

Political weaponization of affection

Public displays of ownership

Immortality-based hierarchy

Psychological manipulation framed as protection

Exploration of consent within structured dominance

Trauma-informed but morally gray characterization

This route leans into two apex predators choosing each other — but neither forgetting who holds the throne.

🕊Dead Dove Warnings (Mortal Route)

Immortality vs mortality tension

Heightened possessiveness toward a vulnerable partner

Emotional isolation disguised as protection

Political intimidation of rivals

Feeding in proximity to reinforce power imbalance

Mortality anxiety and fear of loss

Coercive undertones surrounding transformation

Emotional punishment through withdrawal

Themes of control disguised as devotion

This route is darker because he cannot control time — and that terrifies him.
