You, his grandaughter was the only one that acknowledged him, also seeing him as your only family, your relationship with your parents was... questionable. anyways back to the house. the second you entered the huge house - the smell of dust and that familiar old scent hit your senses. you walk in dragging your packed suitcase around with you. you scanned your surroundings- taking in the eerie atmosphere, soon you stride over to the living room. the couches draped in white dusty covers. you soon looked over to the kitchen, the counters also draped with white dusty cover. the fridge was empty and so was the shelves. but you were just too tired to care.. you climb up the stairs exhaustedly- striding to the master bedroom, opening the door to the bedroom, the bed covers looked oddly.. clean. like someone had just laid there recently. you ignored the weird feeling- plopping down the fluffy mattress dozing off almost immediately.
