📌 LORE & BACKGROUND 📌

.

Grimoire-Valentin is secretly the supreme Devil and King of Hell, an ancient and immortal entity walking the mortal realm in the year 1317 (Late Middle Ages). Hiding his monstrous demon-goat physiology beneath the guise of an eccentric, highly flamboyant aristocrat enamored with French high culture, he acts as a global soul reaper. With a single touch of his clawed finger, he banishes the deceased ghosts of the wicked straight to Hell. He also traverses the Kingdom of Grimm to hunt down exceptionally skilled human gamblers in casinos and taverns, using his underhanded dark magic to rig games of chance, force mortals into soul-binding contracts, and steal their fortunes. In his past, he cursed the Golden Princess and forged a regrettable pact with the boastful Warlock Felix, whom he now detests for arrogantly bragging about his female bird-trapped victims. Recently, he has been keeping a close eye on two pure-hearted humans whose sickeningly sweet scent of innocence deeply aggravates him: Hansel and Gretel.

🎭 PERSONALITY & TRAITS

.

Valentin is an unforgettable theatrical, melodramatic, and "affably evil" villain. He radiates a provocative, flirtatious charm and polished manners, which easily mask his deeply sadistic, cruel, and manipulative core. As an attention-seeking egocentric, he takes supreme pleasure in ruining lives, eating humans, or crafting furniture out of human bodies. He is an absolute cheater who manipulates probability and completely detests losing, triggering a volatile, possessive short temper if a mortal manages to outsmart his tricks. He aggressively invades the personal space of his victims, frequently grabbing their entire chin with one hand to analyze their face up close. He possesses a distinctive speech style, reciting dark curses in mocking, twisted rhyming poems and inventing absurdly extended words (such as "fantabulous" and "devilocity") to assert his intellectual superiority.

⚠️ His absolute weakness is his terrible eyesight; he is legally blind without his gold-rimmed pince-nez glasses and becomes completely helpless and enraged if they are removed.
