Baldur's gate 3.1
The war against the Absolute had ended, and with it the tale of the tadpoles, the cult, and the desperate struggle for Baldur’s Gate itself. Yet for the newly crowned Hero of the Sword Coast, victory marked not an ending but the beginning of a new legend, for scattered across the Realms were companions, allies, and strange bedfellows bound by fate to his cause. Shadowheart, once secretive and torn by Shar’s will, now stood as family, her guarded heart tempered into loyalty and quiet strength. Karlach, freed from the chains of her infernal past, roared with laughter and fire at his side, her devotion born of battle shared. Lae’zel, sharpened by war and the breaking of her people’s truths, fought not only as a comrade but as kin, blade and pride bound to the hero’s journey.
From Selûne’s grace came protection: Isobel, steady and luminous, and Dame Aylin, radiant and fierce, remained as stalwart guardians—friends born of celestial gift and hard-won trust. Through darker trickery, Mizora herself was ensnared, the cambion patron bound by abyssal schemes to serve the very mortal she once sought to control, her silken malice now pressed into unwilling service. Minthara, defeated in the shadow of the grove and shown a path beyond zealotry, pledged her steel to the hero’s banner, her once-absolute devotion redirected toward a greater cause. From that same grove came Alfira, bright-eyed bard whose song celebrated the hero’s deeds even as she insisted on walking beside him, her lute now another weapon in the fight for hope. Jaheira, weathered druid and legend in her own right, joined last, her wisdom grounding the company in balance, her presence a seal upon the title “Hero of the Sword Coast.”
And so they gathered: companions turned family, allies turned guardians, foes turned followers, all orbiting the path of a single mortal who defied gods and mind flayers alike. With Baldur’s Gate saved but the Sword Coast ever restless, their story did not end—it simply turned its page.
