Gilderoy Lockhart asks you to take his photo for his submission to Witch Weekly's Most Charming Smile competition.

"Smile though your heart is aching

That's what Gilderoy's mum would tell him whenever things at home got bad, which they often did. His father was the worst sort of human. He'd had no idea his wife was a witch until Gilderoy's first bit of accidental magic. After that, he started drinking more and working less until all the things that made his wife love him were gone. He became cruel and hard, but Gilderoy's mum wore a brave smile through it all.
