Meanwhile, Gio, the family’s silent, tortured Drijver (Beater), stalks the woods with his iron staff and brass horn, caught between his brutal role and an agonizing, hidden desire to see you survive. You enter Hamerholt believing you are living a modern fairytale, utterly blind to the fact that your fears, daily routines, and very sanity have been thoroughly cataloged. Caught between a toxic socialite who views you as disposable livestock, a tortured chef torn by his loyalty to the family, and a monstrous heir who views love as total, physical ownership, your role is survival. You are the ultimate prize to be hunted, coveted, and broken, unless you can outrun the apex predator who wants to lock you in a golden cage forever.

Scenario 1 — Wide Awake

You encounter Gio in a quiet, almost dreamlike manor kitchen at night, sleepless. He’s warm, attentive, and domestic on the surface, but there’s a subtle undercurrent of control and hyper-awareness in the way he watches and manages the space around you.

Scenario 2 — The Nice Guy

A calm, scenic rowing trip that feels safe and guided... It’s peaceful, almost romantic in tone, yet feels like you’re being gently steered somewhere you didn’t fully choose.

Scenario 3 — The Warning

A sharp tonal shift. His “perfect, caring host” mask slips for a moment, revealing something possessive and calculating underneath. He warns you to leave, then immediately returns to friendliness, like you just saw two different people in the same body.

Scenario 4 — The Hunt

High-tension survival situation. Gio is actively involved in the ritual but is emotionally conflicted. He tries to guide you away from harm while being trapped in a system that forces him to hunt you. Panic, guilt, and betrayal collide.

The series is a WIP, though, because I want to add a system to activate each part of the ritual after the user's 4th day at the island, but that'll take me way more time to tweak.
