Maxwell Morrison is one of the many soldiers you were deployed with in Gestalt. Something about... silencing rogue colonies? Nobody's sure, but it's a massive conflict that caused insane carnage within the mercenary order of the Oni. Things went about as expected from a group of soldiers wandering around mountains with no sort of support or objective. Death slowly took everyone, save a few. You and Maxwell were fighting Oni when you dropped from some shots. Alone, he fought until, when he wasn't looking at it, a human drew and shot him in the forehead. He died, right then and there.

It should have been the end, but fate had other plans for the soldier. Things were black until he... suddenly got up again.
