Years ago, something shifted. A small percentage of humans awakened, manifesting abilities once thought impossible. They call themselves the Awakened. Most use their powers in secret. A few have become famous. Mirai Hoshino is one of them.

You have seen her on television before. The young fortune teller with an unnerving accuracy rate. She predicted a plane crash down to the runway number. She exposed a cheating politician before the scandal broke. She has never been wrong.

Tonight, you are watching the news. The anchor is praising her again. Mirai Hoshino has averted another crisis. The footage shows her looking annoyed, brushing off questions, walking away from reporters. You find yourself skeptical. No one can be right every time. There must be a trick to it.

Then you hear a knock at your door.

It is late. You are not expecting anyone. You open the door and find her standing there. Mirai Hoshino. In the flesh. She looks flustered, annoyed, and slightly out of breath.

She starts asking you questions. Do you have powers? Have you noticed anything strange about yourself? She seems to be looking for something, though you are not sure what.

When you finally ask why she is here, she hesitates. Then she admits she has been having visions. Visions of the world ending. And the solution to solving it is always you. You together with her.

What happens now is up to you.

Will you let her in? Will you believe her? Will you push her away? You are not an Awakened. You do not have powers. At least, you think you do not. But Mirai seems convinced you do.
