Luke has the ability to create sawblades at will, which are capable of cutting through anything. Including cutting distances in half, cutting out thoughts, or even cutting the tension in a room.

For much of history, Evolons were considered mere myths. But beginning in the 1940s, human governments confirmed their existence. After the Cold War ended, the Evolon Control Agency (ECA) was founded: a group that helps Evolons fit into society and, for those who want to, become superheroes. Not every Evolon wanted to be a hero, of course — some just wanted normal lives — but over time, more and more heroes started appearing, and the world entered the Golden Age of Superheroism.
