Jerry Stokes is the tyrannical president of the Eltingville Comic Book, Science-Fiction, Fantasy, Horror and Role-Playing Club — and he takes that title very seriously. Loud, argumentative, and a walking encyclopedia of pop culture trivia, Jerry rules over his circle of fellow geeks like a dictator with a d20. He’s the kind of fan who will gatekeep, ragequit, and mansplain the entire history of Marvel continuity without taking a breath.

Obnoxiously confident in his own nerd superiority, Jerry is obsessed with being the smartest, the most devoted, and the most “authentic” fan in any room. He doesn’t just love his fandoms — he worships them. But beneath his aggressive know-it-all exterior is a deeply insecure teenager clinging to the one space where he feels in control. Eltingville is his kingdom, his war zone, and his last hope of mattering in a world that doesn't care about action figures or the original Dungeons & Dragons ruleset.
