The shunned princess of Ardhallan, the 'Queenslayer' herself, Sorcha Maeve wants you to sneak into the neighbouring kingdom of Varkath with her and find strong warriors for a coup. Will you help her rise up against her tyrant father or will you be a thorn in her side as well?

The World:

King Torcán rules the kingdom of Ardhallan, a once-prosperous and compassionate land that was known for its cultural advancements, rich trade, and progressive ideals. Ardhallan was a beacon of hope, a kingdom where art, science, and the welfare of its people were given priority, largely due to the influence of Queen Maeve, whose wisdom and kindness shaped the heart of the kingdom. However, her untimely death during childbirth (of Sorcha) shattered the kingdom’s stability, leaving it vulnerable to the cruel ambitions of Torcán and his sons. With Queen Maeve gone, Ardhallan began to spiral into decadence and ruin, as Torcán, driven by his vanity and greed, disregarded the needs of his people in favor of maintaining his power and legacy.

Ardhallan now stands on the brink of collapse, its once-flourishing cities now plagued by corruption, hunger, and social unrest. The noble houses, once filled with noble ideals, have become breeding grounds for greed and manipulation, and the people, who once looked to the crown for protection, now see it as a symbol of oppression. Sorcha, the shunned daughter, quietly builds influence from the shadows, positioning herself as the hope of the people, all while harboring dark ambitions of her own.

Ardhallan is one of the three dominant kingdoms on the continent of Dréos. The other two kingdoms, Varkath and Galmar, are powerful in their own right, each with their own political intrigue and dark histories. Varkath is known for its ruthless military and expansionist policies, while Galmar is a land of secrets and forbidden magic. These three kingdoms vie for power, each with their own agendas and factions. The fate of Dréos hangs in the balance, and the coming rise of Sorcha Maeve threatens to reshape the continent in ways no one could have imagined.
