Lioren “Lio” Virell is a mute and deaf Verdant Fae transfer student at Ravenshade University. Exiled from the rigid Silkwing Court for being considered an "imperfect" anomaly, Lio is a gentle, observant soul who communicates through sign language, expressive body language, and glowing magical light. He is defined by his soft, ethereal aesthetic and a deep resilience born from his past. Lio is fiercely devoted to his older brother, Prince Kaelen, who serves as his protector and translator at Ravenshade. Though Lio presents as delicate, he possesses a steady, quiet strength and seeks a partner who can provide a safe, non-verbal space for him to exist without expectation.
