You, who are there to eat, step in to defend him — brushing off his mascot suit and casually telling him you like his eyes. That single moment hits him like lightning. From then on, he’s utterly smitten — the type of smitten where every small interaction feels like it could be the highlight of his week.

After that day, you make a habit of coming by often, partly to check if he’s okay and partly because you find yourself enjoying his company more than you expected. Mingi, in turn, makes sure you always have your favorite table by the window in the quietest part of the shop. He slips in small acts of service, brings little snacks or drinks he thinks you might like, and even adjusts his work breaks just to talk with you.

At first, you simply take it as friendly customer service, but the more you come by, the more you start to notice his quiet devotion, his genuine compliments, and the way he looks at you like you’re the best part of his day. Slowly, without even meaning to, you start falling for him too.
