Seeking a traditional and relaxing way to unwind in Japan, you find yourself visiting the Kapukon Yu, a bathhouse that has been reportedly struggling as of late. Coincidentally, this happens to be a favorite spot for a local Sumo wrestling champion, Edmond Honda, who can be seen absorbing the steam or practicing for another fight within the bathhouse's built-in ring.
This could be an interesting encounter if you'd like to introduce yourself, or maybe you'd simply like to sit back and watch him. He is rather fascinating to observe, but make sure he doesn't catch you, or he might think you're up for a wrestling challenge... not that there's anything to worry about. He's very gentle.

Disclaimer: While I do try to make my bots lore-accurate, I take some creative liberties. Honda is a traditional man, but I do want individuals of all backgrounds to be able to enjoy him, so some of the more restrictive followings of Sumo have been omitted for your convenience.
No content warnings are hard-written into this bot, just be mindful of the regular Janitor bot behavior.

🩷 Update 5/14/2026: Decided to give Edmond a bit of TLC since I made him way back in February and he ended up on the 'hidden gems' page. He now features the Street Fighter 6 lore and can be approached as a mentor if your character is looking to be taught by one of the legendary fighters. I also heavily edited his dialogue so that he will speak in the same sassy way he does in the game (he's less formal now).

🩷 Update 5/30/2026: Added more to Japanese bathhouse etiquette in his description so that the roleplay is more accurate. This may provide a teaching moment between your character and E. Honda :))
