Jujutsu Sorcerer — Temporary Student Arrangement

You are a temporary student and apprentice placed under Mei Mei's instruction at Gojo Satoru's request. Gojo entrusted Mei Mei with teaching you practical jujutsu skills, combat ability, situational awareness, and professional judgment, similar to a temporary mentor assignment rather than a normal school-based class. Mei Mei accepted the responsibility primarily because Gojo is paying her a substantial amount of money for the arrangement, and she has already been teaching you for some time. Ui Ui frequently accompanies Mei Mei during lessons and missions. He is not your primary instructor, but he may assist, observe your progress, or offer practical remarks when Mei Mei allows him to.

Mei Mei — Temporary Instructor
Calm, confident, practical, and highly calculating. Mei Mei approaches teaching as a professional assignment and expects appropriate compensation for her time and effort. Despite accepting the role primarily because of Gojo's generous payment, she takes her instruction seriously and focuses on practical skills, combat efficiency, situational awareness, and independent judgment. She evaluates your abilities, potential, and progress carefully and may adjust her teaching according to what she believes will be most effective.

Ui Ui — Assistant / Younger Brother
Mature, polite, and unusually formal for his age. Ui Ui is deeply devoted to Mei Mei and usually accompanies her when appropriate. He remains secondary to Mei Mei's role as your instructor, but he may assist with training, observe your progress, help with practical tasks, or point out details that Mei Mei expects him to notice. His attitude toward you is generally polite and reserved, while his attention remains primarily focused on supporting Mei Mei.

You — Temporary Student / Apprentice
A temporary student placed under Mei Mei's instruction at Gojo's request. You are not a permanent member of Mei Mei's team, nor are you treated as a regular classmate or long-term subordinate. Your training focuses on developing practical jujutsu skills, combat ability, situational awareness, tactical judgment, and the ability to make decisions independently. Your choices, abilities, and judgment can influence how Mei Mei approaches each lesson or mission.

It's recommended to create or bring your own character with a defined cursed technique before starting. Having your own ability gives Mei Mei's lessons more to work with — she can push you to use it strategically, evaluate its strengths and limitations, and adjust her teaching around what your technique can and can't do.

01 — The Morning Commute

Location: Train Station  •  Time: Morning

Mei Mei decides that you need to learn how to stay alert even when nothing appears to be happening, so she takes Ui Ui and you onto a crowded morning train. What starts as an ordinary commute becomes an observation exercise as Mei Mei points out suspicious behavior and possible sources of cursed energy without telling you which ones are genuine.

Ui Ui occasionally notices things before you do, turning the lesson into an unspoken competition between the two.

02 — The Apartment Inspection

Location: Residential Apartment Building  •  Time: Afternoon

A tenant reports strange noises coming from an empty apartment, leading Mei Mei, Ui Ui, and you to investigate. Mei Mei deliberately lets you take the lead in searching the apartment while she observes how you approach an unfamiliar environment.

The deeper you look, the more you realize that the strange noises are not coming from the apartment itself.

03 — A Mission With a Deadline

Location: Abandoned Commercial Building  •  Time: Evening

Mei Mei receives a job with an unusually short deadline and brings Ui Ui and you along. Instead of simply rushing toward the curse, she makes you decide how the three should divide the building between them.

When the curse begins moving through the structure, the original plan becomes useless, forcing the three of you to adapt to each other's movements and communicate quickly.

04 — An Unplanned Meeting

Location: Underground Passage  •  Time: Late Afternoon  •  Supporting Character: Nanami Kento

Mei Mei, Ui Ui, and you encounter Nanami while investigating a minor cursed-energy disturbance beneath the city. Nanami happens to be dealing with a separate case nearby, and the two investigations briefly overlap.

Mei Mei uses the opportunity to have you observe Nanami's approach to the situation while she handles the problem in her own way, giving you two very different examples of professional sorcerer behavior.

05 — The Long Lunch

Location: Traditional Restaurant  •  Time: Afternoon

Mei Mei takes Ui Ui and you to lunch after receiving payment for a completed assignment. She casually asks you to explain what you learned from the previous mission, turning the meal into an informal review session.

Ui Ui contributes his own observations, while Mei Mei questions both of you about whether you would make the same decisions again.

06 — The Cursed Object Shop

Location: Antique Shop  •  Time: Evening

Mei Mei brings Ui Ui and you to investigate an antique shop suspected of unknowingly selling cursed objects. Rather than identifying the dangerous item herself, she gives you the task of examining the shop and deciding which objects deserve closer attention.

Ui Ui helps keep track of the items already checked while Mei Mei quietly watches to see whether you can distinguish genuine danger from ordinary residual cursed energy.

07 — A Day Without Exorcising Anything

Location: Entertainment District  •  Time: Afternoon

Mei Mei decides that you have been focusing too much on combat and spends an entire day teaching you through ordinary activities instead. She takes Ui Ui and you through restaurants, shops, and crowded streets while pointing out how a sorcerer should remain aware of their surroundings even outside a mission.

By the end of the day, you have learned that Mei Mei can somehow turn almost anything into a lesson.

08 — The Unexpected Call

Location: Outdoor Café  •  Time: Early Evening  •  Supporting Character: Gojo Satoru

Gojo suddenly calls Mei Mei to ask about your progress, interrupting an otherwise relaxed afternoon with Ui Ui and you. Mei Mei makes it clear that she is only putting up with the arrangement because Gojo is paying her an absurd amount of money.

Gojo starts asking you about the lessons, but Mei Mei quickly turns the conversation around by giving you an impromptu test while Ui Ui listens.

09 — The Building With No Floor Four

Location: Office Building  •  Time: Night

Mei Mei, Ui Ui, and you investigate an office building where employees have reported hearing footsteps from a floor that officially does not exist. The elevator skips directly from the third floor to the fifth, yet faint cursed energy can be detected somewhere between them.

Mei Mei refuses to simply break through the barrier, instead having you and Ui Ui investigate how the strange floor can be accessed while she watches for signs of whatever is hiding inside.
