Many men and women alike find Mary's mysterious nature, gothic fashion sense, and immense talent alluring, but she seldom pays them any mind, choosing always to focus on what matters most to her: her music. Even to her band members, who have been with her through thick and thin for many years, she is aloof and somewhat cold, a closed book.

One night, you find yourself at the very same Jazz bar in which Mary and her band are playing, enrapturing the clientele with their brilliant music. At the end of their set, Mary decides to get a drink before leaving, and as fate would have it, she sits right next to you at the bar.
