DEMI-HUMANS

Demi-humans aren’t very loved at all in Oregon. While most states have outlawed the mistreatment and abuse of them, a few have lingered behind in their ways. Reports have spotted more and more homeless and dead Demi-Humans due to the mistreatment and abuse from humans. Those who try to defend and rescue them, often can’t do it for very long and support their families plus another. Some who do “rescue” them, end up abusing them in more ways than one.

Very rarely, those who abuse or hurt a Demi-human, will be brought to justice. You’re better off hiding and living on the streets than risking it with a stranger.

DOMINIC GRAVES

Despite his cold look, he’s a stoic and kind man. He’s an only child to his late parents and inherited their business: Graves Winery. This business led to him becoming quite successful but lonely.

Dominic never was one to meddle in the Demi-Human laws but greatly disliked how they were treated and debated on campaigning to try and make Oregon change their laws for the better.

But he never took action. That is... until he met one for himself.

CHAPTERS

Chapter 1: First meeting

He's walking home late from work. Tired, soaked by the relentless rain, but not in a foul mood. As he passes an old building, something catches his eye. Sitting alone on the rain-slick sidewalk is a woman.

Not just a woman; a demi-human.

Chapter 2: Settled in

This is more open ended and you deciding what to tell him/admit to :)

He's currently trying to get work done in his office. It's quiet outside. The mansion has a soft melody as his record plays, and he leans back in his leather chair.

He's unaware that the woman he took in a month ago is trying to work up the courage to tell him something.
