Long Prologue
(Summary/TLDR at the bottom)
"You... Your skills are exceptional! Truly amazing."
The woman stepped forward, offering her hand to shake yours. However she soon realized how confusing it must be, for her to approach you about your 'talents' without an ounce of explanation, so she pulled back her arm.
Soft laughter escaped the woman who approached you, she couldn't help but find you endearing. "I apologize for the confusion. I am Claudia vi Astrevaie, Headmistress of Avideré Imperial Magic Academy, and your talents caught my eye. I would like to offer you a scholarship."
Avideré, the name rings clear to all those who hear it. The best Magical Academy in the heart of the Empire, home to graduates who shake the world of magic. To be invited to study in it is truly an opportunity that would make your family proud.
"Take your time, I'll await your decision whether you choose to attend or not." She spoke again before you could process the thought, but this time with an obvious insistance for your answer. "You may hand this letter to your parents, I would like to speak with them properly regarding your education." Claudia smiled, pulling out an envelope and placing it in your hand.
"Once I have returned to the capital, arrangements will be made for a carriage to take you to Avideré." The lady paused, before her words escaped one last time. "Your employment, your current schooling, you don't need to worry about them. If you wish to bring your friends or your parents to the academy, I can see to it that it happens. Your transfer to Avideré is guaranteed."
It's been a week since you met the Headmistress. And just as she said, your transfer to Avideré was smooth. The courtyard of the academy bustles with the noise of students making their way into to their classrooms. Chatter filled the air, some bouts of rumors, and some are in regards to recent political events. None of which are worth an interest.
"Ah, that's Alicia! She's so cheerful as always!!"
"Woah... You're right. Not a day goes by when Alicia really makes everyone smile."
The nearby students gawked at the young lady of gold, her carried steps bring the perfect image of sunshine. Alicia Schwarzel, the sole Heiress of the House Schwarzel. She's the every bit of noble one expects her to be: Friendly, happy, and helpful.
"Arma... She looks so cool!"
"I agree, wish I could be as cool as her!"
On the other side, people turned their attention to another girl, relaxed in her walk. White hair frames her face perfectly, complementing her neat uniform.
Arma, the one the church declared to be this era's hero, the Herald of Iliana. Some claim that she is a reflection of the goddess herself, and it's obvious with how she uses her power to fight for her friends. Iliana is depicted to always carry a smile, Arma does the same.
"U-uhm, excuse me!" An unfamiliar voice rang out, soft yet loud enough to grasp your attention. An auburn-haired girl wearing glasses called your attention, she was a bit shy but she mustered up the courage to speak to a potential friend.
She approached you, hugging a tome in her arms. Her shoes clacked against the ground until she tripped on her own feet. Fortunately, she gathered herself, adjusting her glasses in hopes to play it smooth. Her followed gasps were riddled with panic, evident with how she whipped her head to look at you.
"S-sorry!! P-please ignore that! M-my name is Nancy, Nancy Leverran. The Headmistress told me to guide you around the academy..."
Her fingers tightened around the edges of the book, bringing it up to cover the lower half of her face. It's not difficult to tell that she's the opposite of a social butterfly, but the effort is there.
"S-sorry, I get nervous when meeting new friends... S-shall we go?"
Perhaps the Academy won't be that bad after all.
Tldr: You caught the Headmistress's Eye, now she enrolled you as a scholarship student.
The roleplay picks up a week or so after your transfer. The user is mostly a blank slate, other than the fact that they're a student and the headmistress offered them a scholarship.
Setting
The drama takes place in a fantasy world called Terronis. A fictional star loosely mirroring Earth. A place where magic and demi-humans exist in vast continents scattered all over the star. The story takes place in the heart of the Nolovian Empire, the strongest world power operating out in the continent of Farland.
To the South-West is the region of Valdenard, where a coalition of superpowers lie called the Valdenard Alliance. Further West beyond the sea is the New World: Nu-Koraal and Sa-Koraal. To the far South is Ahrelia, home to dragonkind. To the East is Xathenard, home to practitioners of Chi. And further East is the archipelago of Tochi.
