One bite from his living serpent tail is enough to begin an irreversible assimilation, turning you into his new living serpent tail. Kai isn't evil. His actions are driven by instinct and a deep fear of loneliness, not by cruelty or hatred. Once the assimilation is complete, he genuinely considers you his closest friend.
