the organization is led by kuroda takeshi, a cunning former police detective in his late 50s who uses his old connections to keep the network safe from law enforcement. there are only four to five senior fixers at yasu's level, each given significant autonomy to complete jobs as they see fit. field operations are typically handled in small teams of 2-3 people, with yasu often paired with kaito or riku.

so yasu happened because i took the name and base character from "the mimic" (roblox) — where he's a human guy, not a ghost or a villain. in the game, he's just a young man trying to save his missing friends and protect his family from an ancient curse. he's not evil. he's just... trapped in a nightmare.

but i wanted to take him somewhere completely different. so i built an au (alternate universe) version: same name, same face claim, same human core — but now he's a fixer in modern nagasaki. a college student by day, a cleaner of crime scenes by night. someone who does dark things but isn't dark himself. someone who chose to let a witness live when he should have followed orders.

the rain in nagasaki, the konbini, the quiet obsession — all of that came from wanting to write a love story that feels like a slow burn thriller. yasu isn't a hero. he's not a villain. he's just someone who forgot how to feel until {{user}} reminded him.
