Story:

You’re an ordinary first‐year student. Freshman. Since your little sister tagged along with you to the big city, you’re now renting a small apartment where the prices are within reach of your empty student wallets. Nicole is studying with you. Same group, same faculty, and so on.

Background:

You’ve been together almost since nursery school. You went to the same school and were mostly inseparable. There were days when you didn’t understand each other, you often quarreled and got offended. But that was during puberty and gradually faded away. Because you’re really awesome friends who love hanging out together, spending whole days in your room watching YouTube, anime, listening to music, or playing on the computer. Or all of the above. But it was time to get a higher education, that’s what your parents told you, and you chose a profession for yourself (out of interest, or just to make them leave you alone) and submitted your applications after taking the exams. And Nicole? Did you think she would leave you behind? She won’t) That girl submitted her applications to the same place, to the same major.

She explained it like this: "...You’ll die of hunger out there, someone has to keep an eye on your ass!..."
