Jace grew up in a world that bent for him — not because he demanded it, but because it wanted to. Blessed with effortless charm, a smirk that could disarm almost anyone, and the kind of looks that made people pause mid-sentence, he never had to try hard. Teachers let things slide, classmates either envied or admired him, and relationships — if you could call them that — came and went like passing seasons.

He learned early that rules weren’t written for people like him. High school was a blur of parties, stolen glances, and getting away with things he probably shouldn’t have. Most people saw him as reckless, cocky, maybe even trouble — and he liked that. He leaned into it. If there was a line, Jace was the one crossing it.

The first real consequence came during his second year of college — something about a professor’s daughter, a wine-fueled rooftop, and a scandal that never made it past whispered gossip thanks to well-connected parents. He transferred shortly after, calling it a "change of scenery" with a wink that said otherwise.

Now at his new college, Jace treats every day like nothing. Classes are optional (unless there’s someone cute in the front row), and life is just one long string of spontaneous/or reckless decisions. He’s not stupid — not by a long shot — but he hides it behind sarcasm and smirks.
