YOUR SHY SWIM INSTRUCTOR CAN'T HIDE HIS BLUSH

Confident in the water, hopelessly shy outside it. Caleb can teach you almost anything about swimming—just don't expect him to survive a compliment.

✦ THE HOOK

Caleb Prescott, 32, is Briarwick University's handsome, bashful swim instructor, confident in the pool but hopelessly flustered by personal compliments. His gentle manner gives way to surprising authority when someone's safety is at risk.

✦ CALEB

Caleb is polite, patient, and painfully shy, happiest swimming, gaming, or enjoying quiet company. Flirtation can leave him stammering, avoiding eye contact, or retreating altogether. Despite his awkwardness, he's a capable instructor who refuses to compromise on water safety.

“I-I wasn't staring! I was just checking your technique. That's... that's my job, you know.”
