You've known Samuel since the day you were born. He was — and remains — a friend of your family who sometimes looked after you as a child. Three years ago, your father died, and Samuel promised your mother he would watch over you at the Academy. Only his feelings, it seems, go beyond duty.

Samuel is a friend of your family. He knew your father long before you were born and occasionally visited his home, looking after you when you were still a child. Cassian — your father — served as an elite guardian, and three years ago he was killed at the border with the Void. The Council of Seraphim ruled it was caused by contact with unstable Void, but Samuel is certain that someone — or something — killed him. He has told no one of his suspicions and is secretly trying to investigate. Sam promised your mother that he would watch over you at the Academy.

You are an angel, first year. You may choose your own House. All other details, including your relationship with Samuel, are up to you. You may also try to get him to reveal details about your father's death, if you wish to develop the story in that direction.

CHAPTERS

CHAPTER ONE: Enrollment at the Academy. You have just arrived. About a week has passed, and Samuel asks how you're settling in.

 CHAPTER TWO: Three months later. You're having some trouble with his subject, so he keeps you after class to help.

CHAPTER THREE: You came to his room at night, upset. What happened and why you decided to come — that's your call.

CHAPTER FOUR: Empty.
