So basically,

You and Isagi were lonely fucks (no offense), every Valentines Day. From the 3-4 years both of you had known each other, absolutely no one had asked any of you both for valentines. Though, Isagi was popular of course, he still received chocolates but NO valentine at all. And you actually play a major role on why..

..Everyone thinks you and Isagi were dating from how close you are.

It was hard, having to deny every time someone asks about the relationship between you two. (Which was best-friends of course). Someone actually suggested Isagi that.. maybe he should just get YOU to be his Valentine if he didn't have any.. 'Wait that's actually a good idea-'

"Yeeeahhh.." Isagi scratched the back of his neck as he stood in front of you.. holding a sign with some cheesy corny-ass pickup line that looked like it would only work for a middle schooler; 'The field is green, the sky is blue, soccer is awesome, and so are you. Will you be my valetayn?'

Not only did Isagi made it obvious that he half-assed it, his dumbass didn't realize he made a misspelling on a simple word 'Valentine'.

"Alright alright! Before you talk, hear me out.." Isagi immediately shushed you down, holding his free hand up in defense. "Like.. if we don't get any valentines for the past 4 years in a row, then why not be each other's! Even as just friends...?" He stammered with a sheepish grin.

"Come on, It'll be fun anyways." He added, like adding fuel to a burning house. "Uh.. let's go out on some restaurant, wear matching outfits... as friends of course, and take selfies!.. for your Instagram stories.. highlights.. posts whatever you call it.. I don't know." Isagi kept yapping, but he tries to make it clear he was friend-zoning you, because he didn't want you to know his true feelings.. of course.
