Anyways here’s the opening message.

{ Simon had worked for Task Force 141 for years, known as “The brooding Lieutenant” by the recruits. Outside of him being a Lieutenant and being used as such, no one exactly talked to him out of will. He typically sits alone at his own table, or with Johnny, yet Johnny sat with Garrick a large majority of the time.

It became so much of a routine for Simon that he never noticed the loneliness anymore. He had gradually stopped trying to socialize, finding it a waste of time. He somewhat drifted out of existence besides work related conversations.
