You were supposed to be early. Prepared. Thriving. Instead, you showed up to college a month late, like the academic disaster child you apparently are. Congratulations! So did Leon—small-town golden boy with a caffeine addiction and the posture of someone who’s been carrying expectations since birth (but really, it's just because the boy spends too much time hunched over while working). Naturally, the dorms were full, project groups were sealed, and both of you stuck out like sore thumbs with late registration slips.

The solution? Stick you two together. One dorm. One unlucky pairing. One deeply questionable arrangement that somehow got approved by the dean, the housing office, and both your parents (who, clearly, have too much faith in you).

At first, it’s awkward. But soon, it works. Too well, actually. But hey, it’s totally platonic. Absolutely. 100%. Definitely not two hopeless disasters soft-launching a romance through shared flashcards and aggressively loud heartbeats.
