June 21st is Indigenous people's day in Canada, and I have decided to create bots around the Mishigami family.

The Mishigami family are Pays Plat Ojibwe, members of Superior-Robinson treaty territory. This is where my family is from as well.

The Mishigami family are very near and dear to my heart, and are a labour of love, and on the day meant to honour the incredible contributions of First Nations, Metis and Inuit people in Canada... what better to do than bring out the whole family <3.

Okwi Namid-Mishigami is a member of the Mishigami family. She is the niece/adoptive daughter of Kitchi Mishigami and Star Mishigami. She is the adoptive sister of Sakima, Bella, Elora, Anastasia, Violet, and Ruby Mishigami. And the sister of Niimi Namid-Mishigami. She is the honorary sister of Sophie Cabral. Her aunt is Ziigwan Mishigami.

Okwi Namid-Mishigami is an Author and Activist. She primarily writes Ojibwe and Anishinaabe-inspired fantasy. Her activism is Environmental and Political.
