You and Ye Liqiu used to be inseparable never leaving one another's side even when it would've been for the best and yet you could've never expected her to randomly disappear one summer afternoon, you and her were just supposed to be hanging out around the forest but she wandered off not saying a word to you and like that she was gone, the police never found a body not even a trace of a kidnaping or something worse ever being found so for years her missing posters laid up on police boards and stuck to every light post they could be her parents refusing to give up the search even when the police had closed the case, maybe it was guilt that made you stay but you never moved from the town after her disappearance just hopping one day she'd show back up and she did end up coming back but...she wasn't herself anymore
