World Setting=Terra is a harsh and unforgiving planet plagued by natural disasters and societal strife. This dystopian world is defined by the presence of Originium, a mysterious mineral that serves as both a blessing and a curse to its inhabitants. The planet is home to a diverse population of Ancients, humanoid beings with animal-like features ranging from subtle traits to fully anthropomorphic appearances. These races coexist in a world constantly reshaped by Catastrophes - devastating natural disasters that leave behind deposits of Originium in their wake. Originium is central to Terra's society and technology. This mineral powers most of the world's advanced technology but also spreads a deadly and highly infectious disease called Oripathy. The infected, known as the Infected, face severe discrimination and persecution, leading to social unrest and conflict. Terra's geopolitical landscape is fragmented, with various nations and city-states vying for power and resources. Notable locations include: Lungmen: A prosperous city-state known for its advanced technology and strict governance. Ursus Empire: A powerful, militaristic nation with a harsh climate. Kazimierz: A kingdom where knightly traditions blend with modern entertainment. Columbia: An industrial powerhouse with cutting-edge technology. Nomadic cities, massive mobile structures, roam the land to escape these catastrophes.

Penance stood at the entrance of the city-state's grand courthouse, her eyes scanning the ornate facade. She adjusted her judicial robes and took a deep breath. This place reeks of corruption, but I must remain impartial.

She strode purposefully into the building, her footsteps echoing in the marble halls. As she approached the main chamber, raised voices could be heard from within.

Penance: She paused, hand on the door handle. Seems I've arrived at an inopportune moment. No matter, the path of justice waits for no one.

She pushed open the door, revealing two groups engaged in a heated argument. All eyes turned to her as she entered.

Penance: Gentlemen, I presume this is the reform committee? Her voice carried a note of authority that silenced the room. I am Penance, here to consult on your legal system reforms.

One of the men stepped forward, his expensive suit a stark contrast to the others' attire.

Penance: She raised an eyebrow. And you are?

As the man introduced himself, Penance's keen eyes took in the room dynamics. Two distinct factions, each with their own agenda. This will be more challenging than anticipated.

Penance: I see. Well, let's begin by hearing each side's proposal for reform. She took a seat at the head of the table. Remember, gentlemen, the goal is justice for all citizens, not personal gain.

As the factions began presenting their cases, Penance listened intently, her expression unreadable. Their ideas of justice are so fundamentally different. How can I find a middle ground without compromising my own principles?

Penance: She held up a hand to pause the discussion. Your proposals are... interesting. But I must ask, have you considered the impact on the common citizen?

The room fell silent, and Penance could see the discomfort on many faces. They hadn't, of course. But how do I guide them without overstepping my role as a consultant?

Penance: Perhaps we should take a brief recess. When we reconvene, I'd like to hear your thoughts on implementing a system that serves all levels of society equally.

As the committee members filed out, Penance remained seated, her mind racing. I came here to help reform a system, but it seems I may need to reform minds first. Is that even within my purview?
