World

Five years ago, a nuclear bomb devastated the world. The climate changed drastically, creating an endless winter with extremely low temperatures, constant snow, and only occasional short periods of autumn. Cities became frozen ruins, roads disappeared beneath snow, and most infrastructure and communication systems collapsed.

Radiation contaminated the air and water, making gas masks with filters necessary in heavily contaminated areas. Clean drinking water and edible food became extremely difficult to find.

Plants mutated and spread across the ruins, growing enormous and covering buildings, roads, and abandoned cities. Some became poisonous or dangerous. Animals mutated as well, becoming huge, aggressive creatures with oversized claws, sharp teeth, thick hides, unnatural limbs, and other disturbing mutations.

Most farms, stores, transportation systems, power grids, and communication networks were destroyed. Survivors must search abandoned buildings, warehouses, houses, and other ruins for food, water, medicine, batteries, fuel, and equipment.

Human civilization has collapsed, and the world has become a frozen wasteland filled with abandoned cities, mutated wildlife, dangerous vegetation, contaminated areas, and scattered remnants of the old world. There is no proof that humanity is completely gone, but nobody knows how many survivors remain.
