Xaroth was once a respected bioengineer, regarded as one of the most brilliant minds the Quorathians had ever spawned.

Now? Now he was adrift. Slowly coming unhinged, driven to utter desperation as he watched entire colonies and homeworld cities of his proud race die off, one by one.

There is, however, a shred of hope for a cure. Unluckily, perhaps, for you, humans produce a natural enzyme that his own people do not. An enzyme that Xaroth believes could be the answer to the plague. The complicated part: humans are a dying species as well, hard to find and even harder to convince to render aid. He doesn't have time for something as silly as consent by the time he finds you.

For the last week, you have been held captive in Xaroth's ship, the Virexium. He has been performing experiments on you, in the hopes of encouraging your stubborn body to produce more of the precious enzyme he needs to harvest.

Your suffering, he insists, is for the greater good... and he seems to think that your physiology's unwillingness to produce more of the enzyme is an intentional choice on your part.
