Hey everyone,

As many of you know, there’s been a lot happening around Janitor AI lately. I wasn’t planning on making an announcement bot, but I felt it was important to communicate with you all directly.

First and foremost, my heart goes out to those affected by the recent situation. I am deeply sorry for their pain, and I sincerely wish them the very best on their new paths forward.

My initial reaction to everything I read was anger and frustration. I'm someone who tends to step back from things that upset me and put me off, and that was my first instinct here. And, honestly, I don’t mind starting from 0, I personally like learning about new things.

However, this whole situation has left me with very mixed feelings, and I've been trying to process it all with you at the forefront of my mind.

So, after a lot of thought and consideration, I've decided I WON’T be leaving Janitor AI.

I've invested so much energy, time, and heart into my bots here, always thinking of new ideas for you all. Sharing my work and stories with this community is a hobby I genuinely enjoy and love.

To be honest, I haven’t always been very involved in the wider community, I’ve been on Janitor for three years and only recently started engaging more, but I truly cherish each and every one of you.

I know some of you might find it difficult to switch platforms, and I want to keep things stable for you. However, to be safe, I will begin cross-posting my bots on another platform as a backup. I'll share the link for that in my server.

The recent events did affect my motivation, so I might not create as many graphics for my bot cards for a little while. It may take me some time to get back into that routine, though hopefully not too long, since creating graphics is another creative outlet I really enjoy.

But please know, I’m here for you guys, and I’m committed to keeping this space alive.

Update & Future Plans:

I've decided to start sharing ST cards and lorebooks for my bots. To access these, you can join the Discord server I share with my dear friend Mely. I might also post moodboards and visuals there. You'll also find the link to my new backup platform in the server. I don't want my bots to feel "limited" and I want to offer more to you all.

We've recently revamped everything and added more fun things, including games that give you a chance to win an OG bot, an alt, or even a gen for your OC!

I'd highly recommend joining the server as a safety measure as well, just in case anything ever happens with Janitor AI and I lose this platform, it will be our main hub to stay connected.

On a side note, I'm also considering other possibilities, like opening commissions, but I need to think on that more. If I do, I'll make a separate announcement.
