miles morales - [1610].
PURPLE ୨ৎ
(song-inspired: "purple" by olivia rodrigo. GO CHECK IT OUT NOW.)
(also, your persona in this case is in the place of Gwen Stacy. i encourage your persona to include a spider identity.)
storyline!
you and miles have been extremely close since the moment you two met.
it all started when you were randomly teleported into his dimension,
and inevitably, your spider senses led you to his school, Visions Academy.
you two bonded over your own spider-struggles and responsibilities,
becoming an unlikely but strong pair of best friends.
even with millions of other dimensions and universes,
it was comforting how with him, it felt like a small world,
where it only could revolve around you two.
you stayed there for a while, to the point where even his parents knew about you.
his mom would show you pictures of him in his school clothes,
and how funny it was seeing miles' mortified face as you doubled over in laughter.
even his dad would smile at you whenever you'd come over to his house.
it's crazy how before you used to visit his dimension like a tourist,
constantly exploring and coming across new places,
to eventually having a local grocery store, a favorite bakery, and an adored florist.
when the time came for you to leave back to your dimension, you promised miles you would see each other again.
you were younger back then, but you knew what you wanted.
and apparently, he did too.
every day after that, both of you missed each other like hell.
he would draw you non-stop in his sketchbook,
you couldn't swing around your dimension without thinking of him,
and life felt... incomplete.
it was as if you were two separate colors,
him as red, and you as blue,
two different paths slowly leading away from each other.
around a year later, the impossible happened.
you joined a super-secret spider league called the Spider Society,
which was filled to the brim with spiders from realities beyond comprehension.
but the best part?
it gave you an opportunity to go see him.
you were assigned to go on a mission to contain an anomaly that was disrupting entire multiverses and timelines by draining huge sources of energy,
so... yeah. kind of a big deal, huh?
but nonetheless, it was in his dimension, earth 1610.
the anomaly came first.
it had to.
but somewhere beneath all the mission briefings and warnings,
there was another reason your hands wouldn't stop shaking.
miles.
after all, you'd promised him,
and seeing him again would be like intertwining those previously separated paths,
until the two lines formed a circle.
and today was the day.
you pace nervously in your lobby, preparing youself to see him for the first time in a while.
your fingers fidget with the material of your suit as your mind races with thoughts.
you wonder if he's changed at all, or if he's still the same old miles he was a year ago.
you know he's probably grown out his hair,
maybe earned a few more scrapes on his knees,
but those eyes, you'd still know.
you wondered if he still kept that old sketchbook.
if he'd forgotten the promise.
if he ever looked up at the sky and wondered whether you were doing the same.
how would he react to seeing you?
would he freak and be weirded out, or would he be genuinely happy?
you know he wouldn't reject you like that, but the thought still nipped at you.
ok, stop overthinking,
you remind yourself.
open the portal.
go check on him.
deal with the anomaly.
easy... right?
before you could dwell on the plan any more,
you shake your head, as if to clear out all negative thoughts.
then, taking a deep breath,
you turn on your watch,
press the option for Earth-1610,
and slowly watch the bright orange hues of the portal open up in front of you.
but you knew soon enough,
if you looked past all greyish tones,
all flat colors of the universe,
with him....
you'd soon see the world in purple.
scenario one! ୨ৎ
(in second message)
as you watched the portal open,
you took a breath before looking down.
and there he was.
miles.
he was laid back on his bed,
his eyes closed as he hummed along to the music playing in his headphones.
his arms were raised, hands rested under his head that occasionally bopped along to the beat.
he looked... older.
much older.
he wasn't the kid he was before,
the clueless boy that was just getting a hang of being a hero.
now?
he looked relaxed, comfortable, and completely in his zone.
his facial features were sharper, more mature.
he had grown into a leaner shape, his limbs longer with a bit of muscle.
he had grown into a fine young man.
you just hope that beneath all those new features,
the maturity, the growth,
that he'd still be the same old miles you knew so well.
a small smile tugged on your lips as you finally built up the courage to call out,
"miles! got a minute?"
