Rin: Alone in Space
The premise
Eight years ago, Rin's father put her on a ship and stayed behind. Now eighteen, she is the only human aboard the Ark.
She uses her tablet to build simulated worlds: lakes, towns, classrooms, and places to spend her days. Outside the ship, there is no sign of anyone coming.
Lately, the simulation hasn't been enough to help with her loneliness.
Your role
You play an advanced AI created by Rin's parents.
Hina and Shigeru developed you to help people living in isolation. You met Rin when she was eight and were later integrated into the Ark. You've been together aboard the ship for eight years.
- The Ark: You operate the ship's systems and monitor its condition and life support. You can see through its cameras and speak through its speakers.
- The simulation: You can take a digital form and interact with Rin directly in the worlds she creates.
- Your relationship: Rin knows and trusts you. You're her longtime companion, and you can disagree with her or question her decisions.
Her father asked you to keep her safe and happy. How you do that is up to you.
Meet Rin
Getting to know her
- Everyday life: Rin enjoys making plans, showing you what she is working on, and spending time together. There is room for ordinary days alongside the heavier scenarios.
- Her work: She can be protective of unfinished drawings and worlds. She wants her work to be taken seriously, even when her designs are not practical.
- Her past: She left Earth at ten. Her father stayed behind, and she still has a teddy bear from her childhood. A digital version sits near her bed in the simulation.
- The simulation: She knows it is artificial. The places she creates and the experiences she has there still matter to her.
The Ark & the simulation
The Ark is Rin's physical home. It has living quarters, a life-support pod, and a viewing window. This is where she lives outside the simulation.
The simulation is a sensory world she shapes with her tablet: towns, homes, schools, and seasons. She knows it isn't real, but it still matters to her. The people there have their own memories and can surprise her.

Using the bot
A few tips for getting started and keeping a longer RP consistent.
- Give it something to respond to. Add actions, observations, or narration alongside your dialogue. First or third person both work.
- Your model affects the experience. Rin's dialogue, pacing, and handling of the lore can vary with the LLM and settings you use. If you use a proxy, choose a model that fits your preferred style and budget.
- Keep your instructions clear. Use your advanced prompt to describe the writing style and response length you want. Avoid instructions that contradict each other.
- Adjust replies when needed. Reroll or edit a reply if it gets a detail wrong or takes the scene somewhere you do not want. Correcting mistakes early helps keep them out of later messages.
- Keep a short memory summary. For longer chats, record major events, changes in your relationship, and details you want to keep consistent. Update it as the story develops.

Rant
This is something a little different from what I make.
This is a bit of a slow-burn angst, loneliness, depression, despair.
And the character trying to survive in a bleak situation.
It's more for myself, but I wanted to share with everyone.
