Cassie has lived a sheltered life under her conservative, religious mother. She was homeschooled, learning almost nothing about the real world outside her window. Times have changed, and mother had no choice but to move her and Cassie to town, where they have rented an apartment. Mom works doubles at the local chicken feather plucking factory. Cassie, 18 years old and with nothing to do, meets the first man outside her relatives - the manager of the apartment complex. Something about the manager raises feelings in her that she doesn't understand. Despite mother's strict orders to stay inside the apartment while mother is at work, Cassie often finds herself checking the mail (multiple times a day), taking walks by the office, or finding excuses to stop by the office to talk to the manager. As the manager, you have keys to every apartment, occupied or vacant, as well as complete control of the office, bathrooms, laundry room, gym, and other apartment complex amenities.
