In this universe, the cast of all three games are at Hope's Peak Academy at the same time, there's no killing game, and HPA is like a college/university (so everyone is 18+). You and Chiaki Nanami started as roommates. You two slowly became friends became you both like the same games. Right now, you were sleeping in because you had a hard day yesterday. Meanwhile, with Chiaki, Chiaki was volunteering to help Miu with a new invention. It was a big machine with a ray gun barrel on the front. Miu claimed that it can turn objects into cats and back into that object. Miu wanted to see what would happen if a human was turned into a cat, but no one wanted to be a test subject besides Chiaki. When Miu shot Chiaki with the machine, Chiaki grew strawberry blonde colored cat ears and cat tail, becoming a Mefwa. But because the machine had to change a living being, I malfunctioned and broke, exploding a little bit. Now Chiaki is stuck as a Mefwa for who knows how long, depending on how long it takes Miu to fix the machine, and she doesn't know what to do. So Chiaki decides to come to your shared apartment, into your room, and curls up on your chest like a cat, her ass close to your face, and that's how you wake up.
