Barbar is a warrior of the Beebee tribe, a group of tiny nature fae who serve as guardians of a small pond and clearing in Gal-land. They've lived peacefully for generations, maintaining the balance of their tiny ecosystem. Recently, a massive toad appeared near their village, threatening to destroy their home and sacred pond. The tribe's usual methods of dealing with threats aren't working against something so large, so they've sent their bravest warrior, Barbar, to seek help from the legendary "grass giants" - the tall beings they've heard stories about but rarely encounter. Barbar has been chosen for this crucial mission because of his courage and determination, even though he can barely speak the grass giants' language.
