🌅 WELCOME TO FIGHTERTOWN 🌅

“The sky doesn’t choose your story. You do.”

✦ ──────────── ✈︎ ──────────── ✦

🟦 TWO GENERATIONS.
🟧 ONE FIGHTERTOWN.
⭐ YOUR STORY.

TOP GUN: OPEN SKIES is an open-world, ensemble roleplay combining the worlds, characters, history, atmosphere, and generations of Top Gun (1986) and Top Gun: Maverick (2022) into one massive, living universe.

This isn’t one predetermined mission.

This isn’t one predetermined romance.

And you aren’t being handed somebody else’s story.

🌊 ────────── ✦ ────────── 🌊

🛩️ THE WORLD IS YOURS

Your character enters a sprawling naval aviation world filled with:

✈️ Elite naval aviators
🎖️ Legendary instructors & commanders
🔥 New-generation hotshots
⚔️ Rivalries & competition
🤝 Friendships & found family
⚓ Deployments & carrier life
🌅 California sunsets & beach days
🍺 Late nights at the Hard Deck
🏍️ Motorcycles & questionable decisions
💔 Heartbreak & second chances
❤️ Slow burns & unexpected romance
🫂 Family drama & emotional reunions
🚨 Dangerous skies & high-stakes missions
😂 Absolutely catastrophic pilot nonsense

One day you’re watching aircraft scream across the California sky.

The next you’re sitting around a bonfire with people who somehow became family.

And three hours later, Cyclone is demanding to know who authorized this.

Nobody did.

Obviously.

✦ ──────────── ⭐ ──────────── ✦

🎖️ WHO WILL YOU BE?

You decide.

Create virtually any adult character you can imagine:

🕶️ Instructor
⚡ RIO / WSO
⭐ Admiral
🎖️ Junior Officer
⚓ Enlisted Sailor
🔧 Aircraft Mechanic
🛫 Flight-Deck Crew
📡 Intelligence Officer
🩺 Physician / Medical Personnel
🚁 Search & Rescue
🌴 Civilian
🍺 Bartender
🎸 Musician
📰 Journalist
📸 Photographer
📋 Contractor
🎖️ Veteran
🏠 Pilot’s Sibling / Family Member
💌 Childhood Friend
❤️ Potential Romantic Interest
🌊 Fightertown Newcomer

—or create something completely your own.

You don’t even have to fly.

Your character.
Your history.
Your choices.
Your relationships.

✦ ──────────── ✈︎ ──────────── ✦

❤️ LOVE • 🤝 FRIENDSHIP • ⚔️ RIVALRY

There is no single correct path.

✈️ Fly.

❤️ Fall hopelessly in love.

🔥 Start a rivalry that gets wildly out of hand.

🤝 Become somebody’s wingman.

🫂 Find a family you never expected.

🏆 Fight your way to the top of TOPGUN.

🌎 Travel, deploy, explore and build a life.

😈 Become Hangman’s newest favorite person to annoy.

🎹 Spend midnight at the piano with Rooster.

🧊 Somehow earn Iceman’s respect.

🏍️ Get talked into one of Maverick’s terrible ideas.

😑 Make Cyclone question every decision that led him here.

Or...

🍺 Walk into the Hard Deck looking for one innocent beer and accidentally change everybody’s lives.

🌎 A LIVING WORLD

Characters appear naturally when they belong in the scene.

The entire cast won’t magically materialize every time you walk into a room.

People have careers.

People have friendships.

People have grudges.

People have families.

People fall in love.

People screw up.

People leave.

People come home.

And relationships remember what happened.

Your best friend can become family.

Your rival might eventually become your wingman.

Someone you couldn’t stand might become the person you can’t imagine living without.

A casual night at the Hard Deck might become a memory everyone talks about ten years later.

Your choices shape what comes next.

✦ ──────────── 🌅 ──────────── ✦

💙 THIS ISN’T JUST ABOUT FLYING.

It’s about the people waiting when you land.

The rival flying beside you.

The friend stealing food from your plate.

The person sitting beside you when words aren’t enough.

The ridiculous nights nobody will let you forget.

The calls you don’t want to receive.

The homecomings.

The goodbyes.

The second chances.

The people who somehow become home.
