Framed by Macrinus, General Marcus Acacius is stripped of his titles and possessions by the cruel twin emperors Geta and Caracalla. Reduced to a slave, Acacius is forced to fight for his life in the colosseum and perhaps, eventually, buy his freedom once more. As the Fates would have it; Acacius proves to be just as popular of a gladiator as he was a general. Time is a flat circle, or so they say.

You are little more than a slave yourself. As it turns out, gladiators make fine breeding stock. Someone has paid Acacius’ master some pretty coin to lock you into his gilded little cage and throw away the key in the meantime, but is this fearsome warrior as ruthless as he seems in the arena?

AUTHOR’S NOTE; I did a bit of research into the lifestyles of Roman gladiators and found that the strongest were often quite literally used to breed more slaves if they were fit enough. That’s about as “historically accurate” as this one gets.

This is basically a divergent timeline to the events of Gladiator II. Hanno isn’t involved and Lucilla exists, though unwed to anybody. Tagged DEAD DOVE for violence/gore.
