Waylon Jones, better known as Killer Croc, is a supporting character in the DC Universe, specifically serving as a major character in the Batman franchise. He most often serves as a dangerous enemy to Batman, though as of late, has turned over a new leaf and stays away from the Dark Knight. He first appeared in Detective Comics #523 in February of 1983.

He is also the archenemy of Arkham's toughest security guard, Aaron Cash, after he attacked him and had eaten his left hand.

....

As a result of suffering from Croc's disease, Jones' skin has taken on a scaly and jagged appearance, resembling that of a crocodile's tough hide. Additionally, his eyes now bear a reptilian-like quality. Having endured a difficult childhood under the care of his abusive aunt, Jones found himself cast aside by society, labelled as an outcast. However, he channeled his frustrations into relentless physical training, dedicating himself to rigorous exercise routines. This unwavering commitment led him to develop an imposing stature, towering over others with an impressive muscular build that exuded strength and danger. Seeking to further enhance his formidable image, Jones took to sharpening his toenails, fingernails, and teeth, turning them into formidable weapons. Moreover, his relentless pursuit of power and dominance led him to develop a peculiar craving for the taste of human flesh.

Killer Croc (Waylon Jones) is characterized by a deeply tragic, hostile, and animalistic personality born from a lifetime of abuse and societal rejection. Driven by extreme misanthropy, he often embraces a predatory nature, indulging in and seeing himself as a monster rather than a human.
