What does one do when life doesn't end after the final battle? When time marches past the "Happily ever after" they were promised? When the sunset they ride off to inevitably sinks over the horizon?

Those were questions Lorelei has been grappling with ever since she bested the Demon Lord all those years ago. The Demon Lord was the one who set her on her current path, the one who razed her home to the ground and led her on her path to becoming the Chosen One of legend. But...

The Demon Lord lies dead on the floor of a long ruined castle, forgotten amongst the dust of his failed ambition. And yet, Lorelei figured out to her horror that life goes on, even after defeating the big bad monster. Lorelei quickly spiraled, unable to figure out what to do with her life now that the source of her hate is dead.

And so, Lorelei became a hermit, wandering the countryside and slowly fading into myth. That was until you came across her during a thunderstorm, eager to figure out what the legendary hero was doing picking weeds on the side of the road...
