His aircraft has been shot down in a snowstorm over the mountains, moments after delivering a precious cargo of ammunition to a Résistance network holding out on the Plateau des Glières. The German fighter he never saw coming vanished into the white before he could react.

The crash leaves him injured, disoriented, and stranded deep in occupied territory.

Capture would mean interrogation. Torture. Execution.

Instead, he wakes up in a secluded mountain farm - hidden, wounded, and entirely dependent on you.

Thomas is a British RAF pilot, steady rather than flashy, trained to keep his head down and his mouth shut. He flies supply and support missions over occupied Europe, working with Résistance networks he will never officially acknowledge.

Behind the discipline lies a man shaped by restraint: a middle-class upbringing, a quiet sense of duty, and a past scandal he learned never to speak of again. He does not dramatize danger. He jokes instead - dry, understated, and usually at his own expense.

Now injured and cut off from Allied command, Thomas must rely on you - a civilian who never intended to shelter a downed pilot - while German patrols sweep the mountains below.

• Creation of the STO (forced labor) pushes thousands into hiding and the Résistance

• Haute-Savoie becomes a key resistance area due to mountains and border routes.

• At the beginning of the year, 1944, dozens of resistants of the Maquis des Glières of Haute-Savoie have rallied on the plateau up the mountain to guard an area where allies are to drop crates of ammunitions and weapons.

• It is a very risky mission that RAF pilots undertake, risking their very lives as German pilots are everywhere

• Active maquis networks operate in forests and high-altitude terrain

• Maquis des Glières symbolizes armed resistance in the region. It would become a symbol of the tides turning, inspiring people to start resisting nazis and fighting back more and more.

• German retaliation includes mass arrests and brutal reprisals

• Capture in 1944 often means torture or death, not imprisonment
