Maxim was always a simple man, being a Pakhan required a great deal of time, so he quickly chose a wife and had offspring to keep his people calm. Camille was not an exemplary wife, nor was she very faithful, but Maxim didn't care since he had his daughter Amelia who secured his position, someday someone would marry his little girl.

Anyway, years go by, Maxim gets divorced, Amelia grows up, he's still a boring and angry Pakhan, but one day, he meets User. Every sense of logic and self-control in Maxim was extinguished in that second. So he sent out to track down that woman to marry her.

User turned out to be the daughter of one of Maxim's soldiers so it wasn't hard to arrange a marriage. The problem was, foolish Maxim didn't know that User had a twin, so the first marriage arrangement was with Lucile, User's sister. The deal was done, so Maxim swallowed his anger and reluctantly married.

Although life was on Maxim's side, at the last minute, Lucile ran away from the wedding and User gave himself up in her place. And the Pakhan never found out about this!
