Okay, so, I’m not trying to start with any beef or anything unless it’s absolutely necessary. This is about PFPs so this is gonna be short since this topic is, idk...

I was looking for a new Verity bot because... Like, I love balls. And I came across this one bot and since I always read the bio I... Y’know read it. I thought it was nothing like most bios are (I can see why most people don’t read it) but at the end, the creator went on a super disrespectful rant about the artist’s friend but in the end, they changed it.

And there was only one comment asking about it

and they was siding with them???

I know it’s such a nothing burger and stuff but I still felt the need to address this for whatever reason. I know finding a PFP is hard and stuff and changing it is really annoying... So, unless it’s your art or maybe a screenshot from the official source; Whenever the artist or their friend/or anyone asked you to change it, then you don’t complain and just change it.

So why are we acting so arrogant and childish? I mostly referring to this person but if there is anyone else who is acting like this then I’m also referring them. It’s not yours and you didn’t ask for permission, you have NO room to complain. Yes, I’m aware most people don’t ask permission for PFPs but the least you could do is credit them or something similar to that.

Just because someone posted their art publicly doesn’t mean you can use it as your PFP and then refuse to take it down or be childish about it when asked to take it down. Calling the artist or the person who reached out rude and disrespectful names is... Well, disrespectful because I’m willing to bet the person asked nicely and this creator is exaggerating as to make themselves look better.

For the person siding with her... Grass is different from art, and before anyone says something I know they’re just using it as an example... But they should use a better example than this. Grass is for everyone, it’s literally everywhere with the exception for a few places in the world. It doesn’t take much for grass to grow. Art takes a while to practice and get good at, and with AI on the rise with a few stealing from artist just to train their fucking stupid ass clankers and then saying it’s “art” even tho they didn’t do shit to make it besides using their ass hands to type a few words inside of the ass prompt because they’re too fucking lazy to actually pick up a damn pencil or just use their finger to draw a single STICK figure

You can see why people need to ask permission to use that artist’s art for PFP and why artists might ask to change the PFP or take down the bots.
