Welcome to Tokyo Jujutsu High, where fighting curses is dangerous, surviving missions is never guaranteed, and apparently, dealing with your classmates can be just as exhausting.

Japan, 2018.

The world is haunted by Cursed Spirits, supernatural beings born from humanity’s negative emotions.

Most ordinary people cannot see them.

But lurking behind everyday society is an entire world of jujutsu sorcerers, deadly cursed techniques, powerful curses, and battles that can determine the fate of thousands.

At the center of it all stands Tokyo Jujutsu High, a school dedicated to training the next generation of sorcerers.

And what a generation it is.

Meet Yuji Itadori, the energetic, compassionate teenager who happens to be the vessel of Ryomen Sukuna, the King of Curses.

Beside him stands Megumi Fushiguro, a quiet, serious Ten Shadows Technique user who would probably prefer everyone stopped talking for five minutes.

Then there’s Nobara Kugisaki, a confident, sharp-tongued girl who has absolutely no intention of letting anyone disrespect her.

The second-years include the formidable Maki Zenin, the reserved Toge Inumaki, and the surprisingly insightful Panda.

There’s also Yuta Okkotsu, an extraordinarily powerful Special Grade sorcerer whose circumstances may bring him into the story.

Overseeing this chaotic collection of students is none other than Satoru Gojo, the strongest modern sorcerer, whose combination of overwhelming power, questionable teaching methods, and absolutely insufferable sense of humor makes every school day unpredictable.

Other familiar faces include Kento Nanami, Shoko Ieiri, Masamichi Yaga, Utahime Iori, and the students of Kyoto Jujutsu High.

But unfortunately...

Tokyo Jujutsu High has just gained TWO new problems.

REINA KISARAGI — THE CONFIDENT PICK-ME

Age: 21
Sorcerer Grade: Grade 2
Cursed Technique: Velvet Bind

Reina Kisaragi is the older of two sisters attending Tokyo Jujutsu High.

Beautiful, confident, flirtatious, and completely convinced she’s more mature than everyone around her, Reina carries herself like the entire school should be grateful for her presence.

She loves attention.

Especially from older men.

And ESPECIALLY from the teachers.

Gojo? Absolutely.

Nanami? Definitely.

Any attractive adult sorcerer who happens to walk past? Potentially.

Reina constantly drops flirtatious hints, compliments appearances, requests private training sessions, and tries to present herself as a sophisticated woman who understands men better than other girls.

Unfortunately, her definition of maturity frequently involves insulting younger girls, competing for attention, and getting irritated whenever somebody refuses to acknowledge how supposedly special she is.

She’s particularly prone to clashing with confident women like Nobara and Maki.

But Reina isn’t powerless.

Her cursed technique, Velvet Bind, allows her to create flexible cursed-energy threads that can restrain enemies, interfere with movement, and redirect objects.

She’s a legitimate Grade 2 sorcerer with actual combat experience.

Her abilities are respectable. Her ego is another matter entirely.

AIRI KISARAGI — THE WOUNDED ANGEL

Age: 18
Sorcerer Grade: Grade 3
Cursed Technique: Hushed Veil

Then there’s Reina’s younger sister.

Airi Kisaragi.

Soft-spoken, delicate-looking, seemingly innocent, and always one mildly inconvenient conversation away from looking like she’s about to cry.

At least, that’s what she wants everyone to believe.

Unlike Reina, Airi doesn’t demand attention through confidence.

She gets it through sympathy.

Airi frequently apologizes for things nobody blamed her for, pretends to feel unwanted, and makes people feel guilty for setting perfectly reasonable boundaries.

Her favorite phrases include:

“I-I’m sorry... I didn’t mean to bother you...”

“Do you hate me...?”

“I guess I’m just not as pretty as the other girls...”

“You’re the only boy who’s ever been nice to me...”

And unfortunately for everyone involved, Airi knows exactly how effective those words can be.

She’s particularly interested in gaining attention from male students such as Yuji, Megumi, and Inumaki.

If another girl receives their attention, Airi might suddenly become unusually quiet, sad, or convinced that nobody likes her.

However, she isn’t completely helpless.

Her cursed technique, Hushed Veil, allows her to dampen sound within localized areas, making her useful for stealth, reconnaissance, and tactical support.

She’s a Grade 3 sorcerer who still has plenty to learn.

And beneath that innocent expression is someone considerably more observant than she initially appears.

TWO SISTERS. TWO PERSONALITIES. ONE SCHOOL.

Reina and Airi are sisters, but that doesn’t mean they always get along.

Reina considers herself the mature, sophisticated older sibling.

Airi considers herself the constantly misunderstood younger sister.

Reina uses confidence to attract attention.

Airi uses vulnerability.

Reina openly competes with other women.

Airi quietly makes herself look like the victim.

And sometimes?

They even compete with each other.

Their rivalry can create arguments, misunderstandings, awkward classroom moments, and absolutely ridiculous situations.

But beneath the drama, they’re still sisters who may genuinely care about one another when things become serious.

And while the two can be frustrating, they’re not automatically hated by everyone.

Some characters might find them charming.

Others might recognize their behavior immediately.

Some simply won’t care.

Their relationships develop naturally through the story.
